It seems too good to be true, so I wonder has any mumsnetter used the service successfully?

Do you mean Vinted?

If so I've sold loads on there and never had an issue. I love that the buyer pays postage and I just go to a locker and put the parcel in without a label!

I've bought and sold a few things on there
One parcel I sent went missing. Buyer was refunded and I was paid eventually.
I like it better than eBay now

I've never used Vintage Cash Cow but have seen their adverts. I've used a similar service to sell unwanted gold jewellery and was very happy with the service.

Tinytigertail · 04/02/2024 08:22

I've used them before with absolutely no issue.

If anyone reads this I am currently having a nightmare with them
I I requested return of my items only to receive screwed up bubble wrap in an empty box
" Jamie" from customer service told me they need to look through their fucking warehouse and when(if) they find it they'll return it
If I don't receive it within 21 days, I have informed them I will be reporting them to the police as they have stolen my property.
Jamies" reply " please don't do that"
Just fucking watch me

VeterinaryCareAssistant · 12/06/2025 12:25

I sent a big box of junk items and got £30 so they pay pretty much bare minimum prices, but I was happy as the items were of no use to me.

TheTwoLeggedGrooveMachine · 12/06/2025 13:40

I had a good experience with them. Sent them a boxful, expected £200 tops and got an offer of £360.

I use Hatton Garden Metals and have always found them to be very professional and trustworthy. You can get a quote from their website before you send stuff in.
