Is it just me? I can't cope

I'm no stranger to the odd laxative as my endo has me backed up. Sorry, tmi.

I've had fragmin before and I can't remember this hell... had a laperoscopy a week ago and due to past clots in the lung attributed to my hormonal contraception over 20 years i do not remember such a gauntlet

Aibu that being on the loo no less than 20 times a day for a massive number 2 is mental? I'm not a poo troll, long term member: Penis beaker, recommending a stroller to yourself, running in the rain

Does anyone else have this on fragmin injections and how the fuck do I cope??? Too tough for immodium and too regular for dulco. I may bankrupt myself on candles

Please solidarity...

Fragmin doesn't normally have that side effect . You need to see your doctor - the poo problem may be related to something else.

I have never heard of fragmin causing any kind of bowel problems. Unless you are passing fresh blood or black tarry smelly stools (melaena), both of which need urgent medical attention, it isn't the fragmin.

I’m asking this because you don’t remember this happening the last time you were on Fragmin - are you ABSOLUTELY sure they gave you Fragmin? Another anticoagulant called Clexane/Lovenox/Xaparin (all names for enoxoparin sodium) can cause this; it happened to me. It’s also an anticoagulant, often prescribed in the same situations as Fragmin, but it can cause this problem [usually diarrhea(I know you said yours is solid, but it could be that you’re dehydrated, or something else you take causes constipation, and the combination is 20 huge solid incidents a day], which is what I had several times a day, and I actually posted on here in distress a few years ago, not realizing the Clexane was causing it). But the others are right. If you’re absolutely sure it’s Fragmin, then call your doctor as it could be something else.

Yeah it's definitely fragmin, dalteparin sodium

You're right, and it isn't fully black and tarry but it's on that side of things.

I will call the doctors in the morning. It might be something else but it's so strange it started immediately after my first injection 😟

Don't wait. Call 111 and if they don't advise you straight away, go to A&E. They might tell you to take a stool sample, so find an old container. They can test it for blood pretty quickly.
Black, smelly, sticky/loose stools just after starting anticoagulants are a red flag sign.
It might not be melaena, but you really need urgent advice.
