Hello, can I please have opinions from moms of older kids who have been through the weaning/baby stage?

I have a 10 month old and since starting solids(6 months old) he doesn't seem to digest anything. If he eats red tomato based puree that is how it comes out. Of he eats pineapple chunks you can see them in the diaper. Same with anything, the consistency doesn't change. Also, he poops pretty much after every feed-about an hour or two later everything comes out.

I thought it was because he is so young but now I am starting the get worried. Hopefully everyone can tell me I am just overeacting as a first time mom. Mentioned to GP a couple of months ago when had been for something unrelated, he wasn't worried as had just started weaning and the baby looked healthy and had good weight gain (still does!).

Thank you

It sounds fine

@SeaToSki Oh good! Do you know how long that stage is supposed to last? Give or take of course 🙂

Babies at that age can't really chew food as we do and as they are not potty trained, food doesn't really sit in their intestinal tract long. Sounds pretty normal to me. As long as baby isn't having trouble eating or pooing and is gaining weight appropriately, he sounds fine.

Hello, how are you getting on? Have things improved or have you seeked a second option? My baby is the same and I find it strange as purées should be easy to digest?

@hopeandblessings Yes he is almost 12 months now and it is better! Still not processing everything 100% but has gotten much better-and smellier😂
