I had a small filling done at the dentist today. I now had the usual numbing and the filling was done. I now have my other teeth sensitive. I havee never had this experience before after having a filling at the dentist. Also I am well aware that my gums could be a bit better but the densits never mentioned I see the hygenist (probably because I am an adult and should be pro active about that). It was only today because I asked him about something else, he mentioned my gums and told me to see the hygenist. He wasnt as friendly as in previoius visits. I have not been to see the hygenist because at my previous dental practice, the hygenist was so rough that it put me off because I was left in severe pain afterwards and she was quite rough so I decided not to bother again but this is a different practice with different staff so this hygenist might be more gentle
Is it normal for all your other teeth to feel sensitive as a result of having just one filling. Ive had root canal in the past and never had my other teeth feeeling sensive. Its not really bad but annoying more than anything and I can drink and eat hot and cold but as I havee not experienced this before I thught I would ask
