should I feel stressed - work

I am a senior manager to an understaffed team and have been taking on extra work for my manager since I started the job, like attending regular meetings with extremely senior people and dealing with stakeholders and delivering output to high standard/being held accountable if not. He’s only involved with my HR, not my deliverables, so I have very little support. Even with the HR, there isn’t much for him to do.

equally, I manage someone who returned from long term leave, and am training them and a new person up, so my team are spending time getting them up to speed. To protect my team and prevent them from feeling overloaded, I’ve been doing as much as I can myself with deliverables and putting in ridiculous hours, but I’m spread really thin. I’ve had about 2 hours sleep per day for the last 6 weeks, haven’t been eating right etc.

Aibu? It’s hard to decipher what are the demands of the job vs what I’m taking on that’s extra. My manager doesn’t see an issue with what me or my team are taking on, but it could be that he didnt get my concerns as he’s not involved. Also the newly skilled staff will help with the current situation so maybe things will naturally get better soon?

2 hours sleep for 6 weeks? Yes. You should be stressed.
