To think a stainless steel water bottle is sterile?

I can’t find the answer to this online, please ignore my baby brain if this is a ridiculous question.

Is a stainless steel bottle eg a chillys one sterile if I were to fill it will boiled water, flash cool and put in the fridge to make bottles using some boiling water formula then top up with the water from the fridge? Or if it’s not suitable, what sort of bottle/container do people use when preparing formula this way?!

I used a prep machine to make formula with my first child, but we now don’t have the space for one, I’ll likely get a Nuby Rapid Cool too but I’m just thinking the above method will be simpler!

It won't be sterile unless you're somehow sterilising it every time you use it.

No

use a flask like other posters have suggested

It’s fine. Your going to be filling it with boiling water which will kill off anything
