What would people say a min expectation of grandparents should be? My mum phoned my children on birthdays, exam time, takes an interest in their lives. DPs mum does not try or make any effort at all, has missed birthdays, goes away for Xmas but yet has an expectation that grandchildren should be visiting her. She’s in good health and works pt. Just wondered if there is a basic level of effort for grandparents
