Would you follow up?

Attended interview last Monday. Was progressed through to the informal conversation stage which happened early on Friday morning. Was advised an outcome will be given by COP Friday or earliest on Monday morning..

Would you ask for an update?....

Nope. It’s still Monday morning.

I’d wait until tomorrow at the earliest to ask for an update. Anything could have cropped up between Friday and now.

My daughter is currently trying to seek employment. She's got on a lot of interviews and I think only 1 or 2 actually got back in touch to say she never got the interview.

I would say give it another day or 2 then ask if the position has been filled and if you could receive some feedback.

As horrible as it is waiting, you've got to give it a bit longer. It's still Monday morning, so chasing now would seem a bit impatient.

No, wait until tmrw lunchtime. All sorts of things can happen over the weekend which can make Mondays very busy.

Give it more time. Someone could be off ill for example so they can't get back to you as quickly as originally promised.
