To think surely my HRT can’t have stopped working already?

I have been on Evorel sequi for 2.5 months and at first, I felt brilliant - like my old self.
But I have noticed my symptoms returning in the last week or so - surely it can’t have stopped working already?

I have just had FLU and wondered if that could have affected it? I feel anxious and brain foggy again and like I can’t cope with anything again whereas initially I felt amazing on it!

Aibu? Surely it’s not already stopped working?

It might be flu. But in the end i had to up my dose. Can't hold me back now ... i also think vitamin D is key if not already on it.

@travailtotravel just feels like it’s stopped working very quickly - I felt so amazing to start with!

That can happen if the dose is too low. I had to increase a couple of times until I felt better and it lasted.

Yes I had to change mine after 8 months it's fine to go back for a chat about how it's working

I had to up my dose after 2-3 months because of returning symptoms- they stopped straight after the increase

I found I needed to up doses over the period of a year or so to get to a stable dose and I think many people are the same. Try adding a pump and seeing if that helps

Everythingnotsavedwillbelost73 · 29/01/2024 07:57

@Sodndashitall i’m on the patches so it’s much harder to increase the dose and a faff - sequi only comes in a 50! I think I would need to change my progesterone - it’s annoying as I had been getting on well with it!

I changed to tablets rather than patches.

Ask the GP for a prescription for pump and then "top up" with that ?
