Urgent - Can I wear gel polish with a glitter topcoat in MRI?

I have an unexpected MRI tomorrow and typically have just done my fingers and toes with a shellac type polish. The top coat is glitter.

online it says it’s biggest risk is artefact. I’m having my lumbar spine scanned so doubt artefact is an issue but don’t want to risk anything at all, so if I need to remove I’d like to know asap so I can do it tonight. Thank you!

My daughter had an MRI last week and it said in big letters on the form we had to complete that nail polish had to be removed.

I've had MRIs on brain and Spine whilst wearing gel nail polish

Take it off just in case. Good luck.

I had an MRI while wearing gel polish. They never mentioned it.

Would it depend on the power of the scanner? There are two hospitals near me with MRIs: in the one with the more powerful scanner, I have to declare my knee graft, but the other is less powerful so it's safer.
