To ask if carers that work for companies get petrol money back

I know people with carers that get taken so many places sure,y that doesn’t come out of the carers wage?

You get travel allowance. About 8 years ago, I used to get 0.35 per mile. Even then it didn’t cover petrol and depreciation on a car.

No, if you're taking the client places, the carer doesn't pay fuel.

If the carer is running around between different clients for an agency, they should get a millage fuel allowance. Sadly in my area some don't and are told to skim the clients visit and use the bus.

Fuel Genie cards can be useful for setting something up if it's a private contract.
