What was that lip syncing reality tv show?!

This is driving me mad because Google isn’t getting me anywhere and people I’ve asked in real life am acting like I’ve made it up…

tell me im not imagining it. There was a reality tv show in the early 2000’s that I watched as a young teen. It was American - maybe MTV? Shown on smtv live maybe?? Where people got makeovers as their favourite singers and then acted out their music videos and lip synced to the songs…

I’ve just heard Ricky Martin and Christina Aguilera nobody wants to be lonely for the first time in about 20 years and had such a vivid flashback to the two teens who dressed up as them and did a video to this song 🤣

please help hive mind, I can’t be alone in remembering this!

I loved that show! It definitely existed…but I can’t remember the name!

@ChannelyourinnerElsa sorry I should have said it’s not that, it involved the people taking part making actual music videos, coping the real videos to the songs if that makes sense..

I also love that the first line in that article is ‘sounds like something you’ve made up’ as that’s exactly what my friend said to me 🤣
