To think working in a nursery will always be like this

I've worked in lots of different nurseries throughout my career in childcare and every nursery has had the same things constantly going on amongst the staff:

Staff unable to communicate directly with each other, instead they talk behind each others backs or constantly go to management with the slightest thing.

Staff members getting extremely emotional and crying/being stressed very often, which makes suggesting anything or any feedback or constructive criticism impossible

Constant group chat messages rather than a monthly/quarterly team meeting

Niggling, gossiping and getting frustrated with each other

Management having to deal with tiny (non) issues which could have been easily dealt with between staff involved

I try my best to keep out of all of the drama but it's the same in every nursery I've worked at and it's hard to feel enthusiastic about the job when there's so much of the day focused on how the adults in the nursery are behaving.

Are there any drama-free nurseries out there?

Not my experience at all.

But Nurseries vary so massively.
As, indeed do all workplaces.
