Quick background ex was physically and mentally abusive as well as SA ,living a double life, so left 12 years ago.
Recently SS asked for fostering reference, I declined based on feeling he’s unsuitable.
They asked me to expand and I did requesting they didn’t inform him as he’d turn the kids against me.
He has. They’ve left their home with me: 16 and 12.
Im fact finding atm. Did social services say why he has to wait until youngest is 16, or is he lying to them about why.
I specifically told her he’d do this.
Not sure who I’m maddest at atm.
But mostly sad and lost.
Not sure how to help the kids.
Feel stupid for poking the hornets nest but have a safeguarding job so felt it was important to disclose why.
Also on grounds of eldest doing GCSE’s and youngest potentially being ND and struggles with change (I’m diagnosed and awaiting genetic testing that could impact both kids).
