To look at the line-eyes threads?

Not TTC, don't even have a partner, do have a child.

Absolutely love a line-eyes thread and I need to know if it's only me!

I can't work out what it even is that I like. It's like a little dose of that excitement from my TTC days maybe???

Anyone else??

I like a line eyes thread too, particularly the squinters 🤷🏻‍♀️ Have 3 DC and definitely no more planned!

I understand why people post them, but I don’t think they do the OP any good a lot of the time. For a lot of OPs it isn’t fun, carefree excitement. It’s often a woman desperate to be pregnant after infertility or losses and a load of strangers egging on the idea that “that’s defo a line, congratulations mama!” when there’s often no visible line at all.

I don't see anything wrong with it, so YANBU.
Perhaps it is about a tiny bit of excitement, or maybe intrigue, as if solving a puzzle (although it's just spotting a line!)

I posted one once. It was late at night so no one IRL to talk to and I was in shock. I found it really helpful to be able to post. However I was surprised at posters congratulating me, as it was obvs a very pale line so far from certain it would continue (it didn't). For someone who isn't thinking about the likelihood of v early loss (and who is more desperate to be pg than I was) I think this would be quite unhelpful.
