Ah yes was also about to suggest Hillsborough - it’s very good.
Also, I’d suggest Let him have it (a film about a man who was hanged after a burglary attempt). I haven’t watched it’s on my list - think it’s on Amazon Prime. It’s got Christopher Eccleston in it, who is fantastic in everything I’ve seen him him - incidentally he’s also in the Hillsborough mini series.
And I’ve just started watching Sherwood (on BBC iPlayer). It’s not about a miscarriage of justice really, but it’s about murders that took place in Nottingham in an ex-mining community, and it’s really interesting to see the community’s loyalties and tensions and how these have been affected by the miners’ strikes in the 1980s. It also taught me something new, as I didn’t actually know that Nottinghamshire was affected by the miners’ strikes - I always thought of the North East more than the East Midlands being affected.
