AIBU to be annoyed that husband is hiding his gaming?

I recently found out my husband has been lying about the fact he’s been gaming whilst WFH and I feel annoyed about it. I’m not annoyed that he’s gaming, I’ve definitely dodged work whilst WFH on a quiet work day, but I’m annoyed that he’s lied.

I think he probably lied because he’d think I’d ask him to do more jobs around the house if work is so quiet. He’s not wrong, I’d love that as I seem to do the lion share of housework so it is also a bit annoying that he’s sat on his arse gaming when he should be working but when I WFH and have a spare 5 mins, I’d more likely be putting a load of washing on or running the hoover round. But that’s beside the point, I’m mainly just annoyed that he’s lied.

I’ve tried to shake it off and get over it as he works hard most of the time and we’ve all slacked at times but why am I still annoyed? AIBU?

I really couldn’t bring myself to see this as “lying” or get worked up about it. I certainly don’t give DH granular detail about how I spend my day and I don’t expect it from him. I’m certain both of us at times say we’ve been “working” when we’ve actually spent a bit of the time fucking about online or writing personal emails or watching an episode of Judge Judy in the background or whatever.

If there’s a broader problem where you don’t think he does his fair share of chores then that’s an issue to discuss and rectify. That he isn’t always working when he says he is is his employer’s call if they’re interested.

I'm someone who gets really upset about lying even if it's something minor, but I think that's from having an ex who literally lied about everything, it nearly drove me insane.
