Does anyone work in HR / recruitment?

I am currently interviewing for a role - have had 3 rounds (last of which yesterday).

They told me today that I am going through to the next stage but I’ve noticed they refreshed the job advert on LinkedIn yesterday afternoon.

Does this mean they probably aren’t sold me on and are hoping to attract other options? They have been looking for 3 months.

I know my company kept the LinkedIn ad active even though they’d hired someone. Good luck

Just because they refreshed the job ad doesn't mean that they aren't progressing your application, as they said you are moving to the next stage I would trust that.

If it has been open for months it is probably a hard to fill role. Many employers want to try to have at least a few candidates to shortlist for interview; it is possible they still want to try to widen their candidate pool. They will also be aware though that the job market moves fast and that the candidates they already have may find job offers elsewhere if they don't act quickly.

So I think you can expect an interview soon, but don't stop your job search in the meantime.
