Posted here for traffic.
Basically I have a family member with two disabled kids. I'm taking over helping her as the SW assigned to her was absolutely useless and closed her case based on a technicality.
Anyways what I'm asking is if anyone can point me in the direction of charities that can help with things such as kid proofing the house, hard wearing floors, etc as they genuinely destroy everything bought normally.
Thanks in advance

I don’t know where you live but he children’s school should be able to help

Are they getting DLA for the children? That can go someway towards replacing things

Cantchooseaname · 18/01/2024 20:56

Does she receive dla? This money can be used to help buy things/modify house.

They may be able to access a disabled facilities grant from the local authority, depending on what needs doing to the property.
