Political & cause bandwagon hopping on (& off) on social media.
For example:
If you don't have thousands of followers and you have a private account, is re-posting/re-sharing something political/cause related, really about that issue?
Or is it actually maybe more about you?
What are you trying to achieve exactly?
AIBU to think that the majority of cases (not all), it is essentially just jumping on a bandwagon/FOMO/virtue signalling?
This is something I am thinking about a lot at the moment.
I've definitely been a culprit myself!
I've found myself really questioning my 'true' motives when I feel inclined to re'share'..
(I question why I even feel inclined to share my own life on SM. But that's whole other topic I think!)
