Something stuck in hair

Posting for traffic for ideas!

i have nano ring hair extensions in - but one of the hair extension strands fell out, leaving the metal ring attachment completely stuck in my hair. I need to remove the metal ring as it’s really tight and seems to be snapping off my natural hair in the area.

i have tried washing my hair and putting conditioner and lots of serum in the area, in an attempt to slide the metal ring out, but it is still way too tightly attached and absolutely will not budge. It’s almost like I need a wire cutter or something to cut the metal ring in half to remove it?

the photo isn’t mine, but shows the metal ring I am contending with. I think the hairdresser clamped down too hard with the tools used as it is completely fused in

Go back to the person that fitted them. I had to remove mine during COVID and they slipped out with lots of conditioner

You need pliers, you squeeze the ring as if trying to return it back to a circle (it will be a squashed circle now), this will loosen it enough to be carefully removed.

They'll be able to get that out at the hairdressers

Pliers and bend the opposite way (as if you're trying to form a circle with it), they will just slide out. I have these when I wear extensions

Oops, x post, clicked post too slow!

If none of the above works, try WD40? It's amazing stuff.
