I have a friend of the opposite sex, we've known each other for about 18 years now. We've had periods of falling out as such but always remain on that friendship level even though we haven't seen each other in a while now to both moving some distance away from our home town. However, we do regularly communicate with each other via msgs or calls.
I wished him a merry Christmas and he didn't respond til a few days later which is fine as he would've been busy I imagine. I've since dropped him about 3 msgs on separate occasions (asking how he is, sent him a clip he'd find amusing and a music vid I thought he'd like) all have been read but not responded to at all.
The only thing that has changed is my WhatsApp pic (now a Xmas pic of me, my partner and dc - before it was my pets)
Aibu or does it look like he's ignored me as such since putting a family pic up.
For info he knows I am in a relationship and have dc although not met or spoken to them ever.
