Royal mail delivered my parcel 184 miles away

What do I do in this situation? Company have confirmed that the address I gave them is correct (my address) so who can help me at this stage?

Royal Mail delivered it to an address 184 miles away from my home address and it was signed for, obviously by somebody I don't know.

Company said I need to take it up with Royal Mail which is proving difficult. Help!

Actually I think YOUR contract is with the company and THEIRS is with the mail, so they are obliged to replace the goods and chase Royal Mail themselves, as I understand it.
Hopefully someone will come along who knows this for a fact...

Go back to the company and ask for a refund.

You are disputing delivery and they obviously don't have proof of delivery.

If you've paid by credit card you can open a dispute if they won't refund,

That is annoying.Can you visit the local delivery office and speak to someone in person.It might help.
We have a local one and can collect parcels from there.Theycare usually brilliant.
I hope you get your parcel soon, or a refund.

Your contract is with the selling, theirs is with the delivery service. Go back to the seller and take it up with them or get a charge back if it's on your credit card

This happened to me once. Seller had made a mistake because the other buyer had the same first name as me. I did get my item in the end. Seller dispatched it again.

Contract is with the seller. It's up to them to sort it out.

Ask to speak to the boss of the minion in customer services. As everyone else said - your contract is with the company. If RM got it wrong, they are obliged to do something about it

It is the seller's responsibility to chase up missing parcels and for either delivering you the item or refunding.
Royal Mail won't deal with you as their contract is with the seller.

I had this exact same thing happen to me just before Christmas with an ASOS parcel…they issued a full refund thank goodness and Royal Mail were useless
