To expect the Uber driver to not spend the whole journey on his phone?!

I mean, he's hands-free, with earphones in but driving while on the phone is a safety concern, surely!

Report it to Uber?

So what star rating did you give

I don't know, it's not much different to talking to a passenger when you're driving. Did it seem to make him drive badly?

This surely can't be the first time you've ever experienced this from a taxi driver?

It's really, really common for the drivers where I live (whether it's Uber or a mini cab or whatever) to be on the phone for the duration of a journey, hands free. Most of them have family overseas and they use their driving time to talk to family etc, especially if there's a time difference.

It doesn't bother me. It's also legal, so apparently not enough of a safety concern to be outlawed.
