Food Hub ad before watershed

Anyone seen this ad? At first I thought it was a joke or trailer for a comedy sketch show. It’s obviously in a porn site style with the name being a play on Porn Hub( 🤮 ) But it’s on around 7pm. My Dd who is early 20s found it distasteful so I know it’s just not me being old fashioned. AIBU to think this should at the very least be in after 9pm if at all?

Would be interested to know what those who have voted IABU think about a porn style food ad being shown to children.

I found the ad totally unnecessary and disgusting especially when I have 2 young children under 10. My 18 year old said it’s like porn hub for food.

I decided to report the ad to the ASA and told them that I don’t see how an ad for food has to be in I porn like nature. I also said there is no wonder the world thinks being sexual degrading is ok.

I find it unsettling, I don’t know if they were trying to be funny or cheeky but in my opinion they’ve missed the mark.

Tbf to foodhub, while the ad is something 😶 their name is simply food hub with no relation to name porn hub (though the latest ad...). There are shit ton of company with "hib" in a name. Business hub, book hub etc...

It was on at around 2pm today on a kids channel - think we had Mr Bean on. My son, who is 5, actually stopped playing and looked up at it with a confused expression. He obviously didn't understand it but it caught his attention, which alarmed me.
I think it is a bit too much - especially before the watershed. It is just unnecessary.

I'm not sure why it's not been banned, also the holiday one with Paddy McGuinness where it sounds like he's swearing. Surely they can make ads without the shock value.

It 100% does! Every time that comes on, I do a double take because it sounds like he has dropped the f-bomb.

I really hate all this race to the bottom stuff. You’re made to feel like a pearl clutcher if you don’t want DC hearing dodgy stuff. But as they say…there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

Not sure what everyone is getting so upset about, it is more Carry on camping than hardcore sex fest.

The music , the guy in the bath with a vertical tape measure ?? You can decide whether to watch Carry On films but ads just pop up and before watershed it’s inappropriate.
