To ask how to make my business take off?

I work in the paed healthcare sector and I want to make a website that specialises in my field. I want to have everything for parents on one website, should they be unsure how to help their kids or on the waiting list for treatment.
I’d make some documents for them all in one place - some detailed booklets and some basic sheets.

I know my stuff so I think they’d be good, but I have no idea where to start - how to promote it or how to make people interested. I’ve never done anything remotely businessy. Where should I start?

@Lokkii

But that's someone actually doing the task of getting your visa for you. You wouldn't pay someone to give you a leaflet on how to apply for a visa.

In OPs case, you'd be paying for information rather than an actual service.

Have you considered Amazon KDP? It depends on how much information you hold, but if you have 20+ pages about the condition you could publish this using KDP. Your biggest issues in your current model are going to be driving traffic to your site (cost, time), people not knowing if your information is reputable or just worth paying for (so you need a sturdy review process), but also it's not really a format people go looking for. I wouldn't pay for a leaflet, but I would pay for an ebook. You can drive additional traffic to your ebooks through instagram or tiktok as well. It doesn't need to be a 300+ page monster, KDP can be great for getting info of all types in front of a large audience.

I really can’t work out what it is you’re going to be trying to sell?
Leaflets that the NHS gives out for free?
From what little you’ve said I can’t see that you’re offering anything that isn’t already available online.
Most illnesses have associated charities or support groups either online or on social media. These provide endless amounts of info and advice for free? Facebook groups share knowledge and experiences for free? Are you really anticipating being able to make a living from what you’re suggesting?
