How much does your 6/7yr old sleep?

As it says in the title. I am worried about my DD! She's 7 next week. She is only sleeping 2200-0700 most nights. She's energetic and bubbly but she looks tired and takes about 15 minutes to get going in a morning.

We try to get her to sleep earlier but it's a huge battle.

How much do your kids this age sleep? What time do they go to bed? I'm wondering if I need to see the GP.

7yo here. Sleeps 7.45pm ish - 7ish although with a couple of evenings when it's gone 8pm before she's asleep due to Brownies and swimming. So around 11 hours a night usually.

If she goes to sleep any later we have to wake her up in the morning at 7.15am. Plus she's really stroppy and whingey if overtired which I prefer to avoid!

Mine goes to bed around 8, but reads for a bit so usually asleep by 9ish, he gets up at 7:30. I wouldn’t worry too much OP - some kids need less sleep than others and if she is not nodding off in the classroom then sounds like she is fine on the amount she is getting. I think it would be slight overkill to take this to the GP.
