To think I should get more maintenance loan?

Hi all
I'm a full time student in my first year of uni and working full time as a TA, just turned 25. I have two part time jobs at the same school, separate contracts which equate to full time hours.

When I started the course in September, I had been living with my parents for about 3 months and put 'living with parents' on my application.

When I got my job in the school, they insisted I move out and I am now struggling financially. Student finance took my parents' income into account but they do not support me financially and I get the minimum maintenance loan which is about £300pm. My total income is circa £1500pm but I am struggling with the cost of living and rent on this amount. My parents will not help me.

I have also lived on my own in the past from April 2019-June 2023 so should be classed as an independent student.

Online, it says that independent students are 25 and over (which I am now) or those who have lived independently for 3 years.

Does anyone have knowledge of or success in getting a higher maintenance loan? How should I go about it? I've been on hold for about an hour!
