Asda deliver turning up early?

I have just received a notification from Asda that my deliver is on the way and will be turning up over an hour before the time slot I booked.

I won't be home by then - will I still get my shopping?

AIBU to think there's no point of booking a time slot?!

I've had this with Sainsburys. If they're in the area, they sometimes phone to ask if OK to drop off shopping early. But, if not convenient for you, I guess they'll need to wait until the booked slot

Ignore those messages, mine either say they are in their way when they must be 60 mile away or after they have delivered. Driver did tell me that if they came out of time slot and there was nobody home then they would try again at correct time slot

I get these text messages every time with Asda. They say 'your driver is on their way' six hours early sometimes. They never arrive that early!

If they do arrive early by 10 or 15 minutes, they always call to ask if it's convenient.
