Why not? It's a proven career path if you can be arsed to video every moment of your life. Good luck to her. She will find her audience.

Catza · 09/01/2024 08:58

Would you also question any other career choice? Like her modelling, for example? Or would you ask why someone wants to be an artist or a journalist? There is an audience and money to be made with content so I don't see it any differently than any other small business venture.

Beezknees · 09/01/2024 08:58

Well, why not? I don't know who she is but crack on.

Falkenburg · 09/01/2024 09:15

Good career choice for her She was successful as a model but is now older and has a baby so will want to work from home and being a good looking female she is capitalising on the assets of her looks.

MassageForLife · 09/01/2024 09:21

I don't know her, but I've read the article, and honestly it seems like a great choice of career for her.

There will definitely be an audience for that kind of thing, she clearly doesn't mind having an audience, and I suspect her life will be more interesting than most.

What issues do you have with it, op?

She’s about to be a new mum that wants to earn money in a way that works around her and her baby.
presumably modelling/ tv is long hours and lots of travel. Youtube will mean she can can work her own hours and work from home. Hope that helps!

Thanks all. Interesting! I guess I don’t know enough about vlogging!

I thought she was an actress and I’ve never followed people on YouTube so assumed it was a bit of a second-rate thing to do, like Logan Paul etc.

Interesting to learn that it’s seen as a valid career path - I consider myself updated!
