Bought an item - admittedly very cheap. When it arrived it had lots of marks on fabric, stitching coming away etc. I double checked the original sale post in case I’d missed photos/description of the defects, but no. Seller agreed my request for a return but I’m not happy about paying for return postage if it’s not my fault. Seller won’t agree and thinks I’m being over the top and that it’s second hand so I should expect wear and tear.
My argument is that if I’d known about it, I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place so why should I be out of pocket? It clearly says on the app when you list the condition of an item to include photos of any faults.
So AIBU to keep the item, put it in the clothes charity bin and leave a 1 star review instead of paying to send it back?
YABU - pay the postage and move on
YANBU - keep it and leave a 1 star review (and no doubt get a 1 star review in return 🙄)
