What are these spot things?

Dd, 5, started a few days ago with feeling itchy on her upper body, she had a few spots/blotches, we thought it might be one of her new woollen jumpers and thought nothing more of it.
The next day she started itching a lot and had a lot of spots on her upper body, creeping up her neck and cheeks and hands. We took her to the Drs who said it wasn’t chicken pox/measles etc and not an allergy as the spots all weren’t identical to one another. She said possibly something viral and to keep an eye on it, she gave some anti histamine type medicine. The next day all the spots had gone, literally nothing there on her back, arms, stomach etc. I’ve noticed this morning she now has some spots/blotches on her bum and legs 🤷🏻‍♀️
What has caused this?
Any ideas?

Has she stopped the antihistamine?

Scrapthatstartagain · 06/01/2024 16:38

@DustyLee123 No it’s to take for 5 days, we’re carrying on with it in case

Is there a central point, like a bite?
Have you changed soap powder/conditioner/soap, anything new at all?

Scrapthatstartagain · 06/01/2024 16:45

@DustyLee123 No sign of a bite, but the other spots were quite different to one another-some blotchy, some like a pin prick, quite weird. The Dr said because they weren’t all the same, it’s likely not an allergy
I haven’t changed washing powder

Could it be ringworm?

Scrapthatstartagain · 06/01/2024 17:19

@lissie123 Would the Dr have been able to tell?

Looks like an allergic reaction
