To ask for Christmas tree recommendations even though it's January?

I need a new artificial Christmas tree as my current one is teeny tiny.

I was thinking of getting one now for next year as there are some reductions.

I'm probably thinking about five or six foot.

If you have a tree you're happy with, could you let me know which one please?

one you will be happy with for 10 years - otherwise more environmentally friendly to get a real tree. Even better to get one from a charity shop (info from BBC sounds carbon lifeforms Christmas special)

Have a look at Balsam Hill. You might be better off waiting until the summer though, they reduce them even more then.

Disclaimer - I do not have a BH tree, I couldn't afford them even in the sales 😂 but everyone says they're the best artificial trees you can get.

John Lewis pre lit Newington is great, we got it for Christmas just gone

We’ve got a Balsam Hill one. It’s really lovely - 8 years old and still looks great.

I have a Balsam Hill one that's at least 5 years old and looks great. I bought it with a massive discount taking it to (IIRC) around £130 for an unlit 5.5ft tree, although TBH I should have gone bigger. I'd pay sale prices again, but the peak season prices are daft.

We had a full size 6' tree and it looked too small. Now we have a 6' slim line and it looks fab!

I'd defo go taller if you can

We got ours from M AND S sale x

Oh interesting maybe I should wait for summer then!

I'm not sure I can go much taller as my house does not have high ceilings. I think there's only a foot above the doors, maybe even not quite that.

John Lewis seem to have stopped selling them!
