Posted here for traffic.

Yesterday...a called back for further assessment after first time ever mamogram.

A bit anxious and scared.
Didn't tell anyone yet.

I understand calcifications findings are normal when they screen your breasts but on the other hand American cancer society states that it could ho one way or the other, like 50/50...you know what I mean.

Anyway, only if you feel like sharing your experience a little bit, I'll be super grateful.

OMG what a topic at this time of the day - night! Just hidding while writing this before to toast for the hopefully good news in the new year, fingers crossed.

Thank you all for reading and Happy 2024! 😘

I’ve been to breast clinic a couple of times. Don’t waste your time worrying until they give you something to worry about. Good luck 🤞🏻

I was called back after my second mammogram. I had an ultrasound and everything was fine. It’s fairly common to be called back after your first mammogram so try not to worry. The breast clinic were amazing.

I had a very harmless cyst when they called me back. I think the very great majority of callbacks are because there's something going on that needs to be checked out as a precaution, but which is benign.

The people in the online forum at Macmillan Cancer Support were very helpful.
