DS lost his passport, holiday booked for next week, any chance of getting a replacement by Wednesday?

Posting here for traffic. Does anybody know if it is possible to get one so soon? Happy to travel to in person appointment but with Monday being bank holiday and the flight leaving on Thursday, I am not sure if I should throw more money into trying to fix this or just accept the blooming expensive holiday needs to be cancelled.

My advice would've been to go without him rather than cancel unless you got a refund

I hate this stress! Glad you found it. We got one in person but had to drive several hours to a particular passport office, someone else could do it though as long as you authorize it. Could be handy for someone to know.

I’ll keep that in mind for the next time, with six days to go… he may lose it again 🤦🏼‍♀️
