To ask you to suggest a comedy movie or two that's family friendly?

I want to watch some kind of rom com or similar. Something easy and perfect for curling up and chilling out. But I want something that's OK for my 9yo to watch too.

I've got netflix, disney+ and amazon and I can't find anything appealing or that won't have some sort of inappropriate scene in it!

Honey I Shrunk the Kids is always a hit in my house

Zoom is fun and age appropriate

Camp Nowhere went over really well in my house (which I adored as a kid!).

From my 90s childhood of that kind of age the family films I remember enjoying were things like Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Hook, Mrs Doubtfire, Addams Family, Jumanji, Swiss Family Robinson. Not really rom-com I know, but I didn't like rom-coms as a kid!

My 11yr old keeps talking about how amazing Family Switch is. The trailer looks pretty funny.

Mrs Doubtfire and karate kid films

Just watched the new Genie film on Disney (I think 🤔) and it was good, and got plenty of laughs from our 12 year old

Ok, not a romcom but I recently suggested a very old movie, Safety Last, to a friend for the DC. They loved it and were amazed that films in 'the olden days ' were black and white with no dialogue.
