... because then I'm not stuffing my face all fucking night.
Put the kiddo to bed around 7:30, go downstairs sort stuff out, and then come to bed, I read and watch TV, but am settled in for the night.

hoping this works...!

Brush your teeth for an added layer of resistance!

PurpleFlower1983 · 28/12/2023 21:24

Obviously you would brush your teeth but do this early too I mean!

MyDogsPaws · 28/12/2023 21:25

I don’t go to bed early but I do brush my teeth with the DC when they are getting ready for bed. I’m far too lazy to do it twice so I won’t eat or drink anything once it’s done.

I do intermittent fasting. (I eat only between 11:30am and 7:30pm.)

One of the advantages of it is that I do not eat after I have finished dinner. It’s just a strict rule in my head.

BibbleandSqwauk · 28/12/2023 21:27

Yep. I reckon I eat about 1000 calories a day until about 8pm then I can triple that in 2 hours with a glass of two of something and savoury snacks, cheese etc. As well as going to bed, knitting or doing puzzles helps as it keeps the hands busy.

Yes definitely brush your teeth early.

Have a peppermint tea or something equally exciting if you fancy something in the evening.

BibbleandSqwauk · 28/12/2023 21:28

Or a bath.

The brush your teeth ideas I love.

Good luck OP in your weight loss.

Try fasting. You honestly stop noticing. 14:10 might be a good start.
