He’s driving me mad. He just doesn’t listen! We have a 4 year old Staffy. He’s starting to look a bit porky to me. DH has just given him 3 fried eggs! He feeds him fatty meat off his plate, biscuits cakes etc. He feels mean not sharing with the dog! We’ve had countless rows about it. Sometimes he says “yeah, you’re right” and stops for a few days then starts again. He’s just mumbling under his breath now. How do I get him to stop!!? I keep telling him any extra weight will put a strain on the dogs heart. If he wants to treat the dog he can give him boiled chicken. All the fatty stuff upsets the dogs stomach. DH knows this but still won’t stop! I’ve gone as far as to tell him he’s cruel. Still not listening. I outed him to the vet last time we were there. He got a bit of a lecture off the vet and even that’s not stopping him
