To want to murder people who talk whilst you're trying to watch a movie?

DP does this all the time and it drives me nuts. Just settled down to watch Saltburn and it's been stopped numerous times already. The last time he just started talking some inane bollocks whilst I frantically scrabbled around for the remote to pause it whilst he's going on about uni politics or something. Urgh. Am I BU to the annoyed at this?

It is annoying! I’ve got 2 DS’s with ADHD. The younger one (16) just does not stop talking! He talks at you rather than to you. It’s like bullets! 😂. I’ve got used to never watching a film in peace 😀

DH has been trained not to interrupt but the crunching is just as bad! Crisps or nuts - chomping away. Drives me bonkers

I don’t know I think constant interruption is annoying but I would be equally annoyed being told I had to maintain total silence just because the TV was on.

I'm so sick of it now, because sometimes it can take us twice the time it should to watch a film because of all his stopping and goggling. I've stropped off in a mood now because I just can't be bothered. It's arrogant really, to think that what he has to say is somehow more important than my evening's entertainment.

But not every time tv is on -OP said watching a movie, which generally needs more concentration than Corrie!
