Can I actually lose weight and look good?

I'm 30 this year and I don't want to go into my 30s fat basically.

I'm 105kg and 5'7

I'm thinking of calorie counting at 1500calories and walking on the treadmill an hour a day (just to up my steps) I'll be doing a nursing course so suspect I'll be walking a lot.

I've had two c sections and have an apron belly and I'm just scared of my body looking disgusting when I lose the weight.

Has anyone been a similar size and their body look nice afterwards, would wearing shapewear help when it's gone?

I just feel so defeated already.

Regardless of how you look, you will feel better and be healthier for losing weight. The longer you wait, the worse it is likely to get as you lose skin collagen as you get older and the skin remains stretched for longer. There is no better time than today to start making positive changes.
My aunt lost a lot of weight in her mid 40s. She does have some laxity around stomach area and upper arms but it is not visible when she wears clothes.
