Me and my two daughters under 10 are staying at my sister house for two weeks, she just had a new born baby.we live in the Uk and sister live in the USA. I brought clothes worth over £500 for her new born and 4 year old and lots of snacks for all the kids that should last well over our stay. Now I want give her some food money how much should I give her for our stay. Note she might’ve not accept the money ( but will still insist until she accept) as in our family this is ok to stay at each other without contributing to food but feel bad.

If she won't want to accept money, why not do a big shop or pay for takeaway a few times.

Not sure it is the norm to do so given you have had the cost of travel, but could you just do a massive food shop for her with some extra treats.
