How to get myself back again. Feeling down after looking at pictures from last Christmas

Just no confidence left any more. I’m 26. One DC. Feel like I just have let myself go completely. I’m over weight. My skins bad. I have bags under my eyes and look tired. My hairs frizzy and gets knotted easily. Looking at photos from Christmas last year I don’t even look the same person. Can I get myself back or is this it?

How old is your dc?
How’s your diet?
Do you exercise?

Water is your friend. Stay hydrated and it’ll do wonders for your skin and hair (I’m out of the habit of drinking enough so I’m going to make an extra effort next year).

Don't try to change everything at once. Can you squeeze in 30 minutes a week for a hair mask, face scrub and moisturiser? If you can only fit in one of those things, moisturise. Put a pump bottle in the shower and use it when you’ve towelled off.

Get outside and walk wherever you can (not sure how practical that is with your DC/location).

Tag any new habit onto an existing one - that makes it easier to keep up. Be kind to yourself - it might take a while to feel like you again, but it’s possible!

Absolutely not! I’ve lost 45lb and made an effort with my appearance- hair masks are a godsend or even a Brazilian blow dry. Start small and build up.
