I'm writing late Christmas cards.

My new neighbours have introduced themselves but I instantly forgot one of their names.

Female. Married to Chris (male). Early 60s probably.

Not Sandra but seems to occupy the same bit of my brain as this!

Just dropped cards to neighbors both sides.

Not a clue what they are called, no one is friendly round here.

I just wrote,

”Have a lovely christmas from all names at number 72.”

“Happy Christmas to both of you!

Then when they send back
”To Catonamushroom
love Alex and Chris”
remember for next year!

Unless you are sure, be careful! One of our neighbours has sent a card to Spongebob & Paul. No idea who Paul is!

I know you’ve solved it now but I find going through the alphabet helps trigger the memory, so you say to yourself a a a, A A A, b b b, B B B, etc, when you get to the right letter you will suddenly remember the name!

My Dad gets a card every year for about 30 years from a neighbour with the wrong name say he's "Robert " known Bob ,she addresses ,him as "_Robbie"

We've got two cards that have baffled us. One did sign the card but the writing is illegible we can't make out who it's from.
The other card wasn't signed 🙄

I've had this. Just address it to 'All at number ....'
