I did it. My kids are with him now because of all of his rights. It's horrible but so much better than my marriage. I thought we could offer hope to those of you holding on for the new year.

New Year's Eve 1999 I was lying upstairs crying because the mentally abusive pig man was having a right go at me because I'd gone to bed early as I felt so unhappy. He made me come downstairs and watch the damn fireworks on TV whilst he drank and drank. I vowed this would be the last time I'd ever tolerate this treatment.

A couple of weeks later I threw it out (my house) 😃
