To worry about brown spotting at 6 weeks pregnant?

started today when I wipe I noticed some brown blood on tissue.

definitely not enough to need a pad or anything but the last two times I went for a per there was brown blood on tissue.

is this the beginning of an earl miscarriage?

hoping to hear some stories of people who’ve experienced this and still went on to have a successful pregnancy 😞

thanks in advance and sorry for the graphics x

A little spotting in early pregnancy is very common and not in and of itself a sign of a miscarriage. I know it’s so hard but try not to worry. If it would reassure you in a couple of weeks you can book a private early scan ♥️

Brown blood is old blood. I bled on and off on all 3 of my pregnancies. If your worried ring your EPU.

I had this with both my DC and a sonographer told me it's very common due to further implantation at this point, which causes the spotting.

I had a lot of fresh blood and some clots when I was about 6 weeks pregnant with my first. She’s now 18 years old. Blood doesn’t always mean a miscarriage even quite a lot of it. A small amount of old brown blood is fairly common but contact your EPU if concerned.

Blood, even fresh, is not always the end of the world.

With DD4 (now 9) at 15 weeks i had a HUGE bleed, ran all down the inside of both legs and soaked my shoes.

Went to hospital, they kept me in overnight (mainly because i was feeling faint which was mainly because it was hot out and i hadn't eaten much and i was all upset) they scanned me in the morning and baby was all good 😊

Don't fret OP Flowers

I had this at six weeks and it was fine. I read that it can happen at six weeks. I forget why!
