To think that you need to pick up your own rubbish?

A neighbour of mine has had rubbish all across the front of her house the last few days and clearly has no intentions of picking it up.

It was super windy here a few days ago on bin and I am guessing the wind knocked her bin before it was collected. Really annoying yes but still.

We live rurally, she is in a stand alone house so it has to be her rubbish. She's about a mile from my house.

I know we never know about invisible illness/MH etc but DH knows her from school he said she was fairly stuck up then and probably thinks it is beneath her to collect the rubbish. That she's a bit of a 'it's not my responsibility' sort of person.

AIBU to think she needs to go out and collect her rubbish from the road before it is blow along further into hedges/ fields?

It was windy here on recycling day. There’s a house down the road that has stuff strewn outside the front of their drive still. They’ve just left it.
I pick stuff up if it blows near our house even if it’s not ours, we’ve all got to live here and I don’t want to live in a tip!

YANBU it would take her a couple of minutes. I just can’t fathom why people are happy to leave litter blowing about.
