Not really an AIBU but what are these marks on my 5 year old’s bed sheet *pic included*

It’s not a recent thing, he’s always had them but I’m not sure what they are - is it sweat?

Could it be toothpaste?

no I don’t think so as he’s never got lots of toothpaste on his mouth or anything before bed.

Toothpaste or Sudocrem?

snot/boogers?

Snot, wiped off a runny nose by little fingers.

Dried drool or remnants of washing powder / detergent.

You wouldn’t notice it if you had light coloured sheets.

I think it's drool, both my younger kids get this. It's because they don't stay on the pillow. A good reminder of why we wash pillowcases!!

It’s snot/drool. My 4yo currently has some on her pillow. Lovely!

drool is my first thought... DH pillow looks like that from drool.

I'd agree with everyone else, snot/drool.

My DS is incredibly sweaty at night and the marks left by the sweat are bigger, like a tide line.
