To think I shouldn't have passed my driving test?

Recently passed my driving test first time. But I was shocked when the email came to say I'd got 4 minors in one area. I thought more than 3 in one category was an instant fail. Has anyone else had this?

I'm not complaining, very happy. Just worried I'm not a safe driver.. I was super anxious :(

Most people would be searching for cars. Fact you're making this thread, yes YABU.

I felt very anxious when I passed and thought the examiner must have been mad.
18months in I still feel he was a little crazy but I'm becoming more confident.

I just read your same post on the uklearnerdrivers sub or someone with the same question. It’s up to the discretion of the examiner not autoatic.
you will keep learning now you’ve passed as you encounter different driving situations and with time will become a more confident driver.

It’s not telling you you’re a good driver, it’s telling you you’re safe enough to carry on learning without someone sitting beside you.

Bloody hell, a driver as anxious as you is a danger on the roads.

OP don't post anything about driving on here. People are awful on driving threads.

I should have failed my test due to hesitation but my examiner passed me and told me to have more faith in my ability. 20 years later and I think I've done okay - no accidents, no points on my license. And I did get more confident so he was right to pass me. You'll be fine OP - he would have failed you if he thought you weren't suitable to be passed.
