No Frozen clothes in the boys section?

My 2yo boy is obsessed with frozen, and I could go ahead and buy some pyjamas or a top/jumper from the girls section for him.. but other than that it’s all super pink/purple sparkly, has frills or is a dress. I’m not really a ‘blue is for boys’ person, but I do have severe anxiety and I have to draw the line somewhere when dressing him to take him out I think people would look at me funny if he was out and about in obviously ‘girly’ clothes..

but there is absolutely nothing tailored to boys that’s frozen themed.. why?! Not even Christoff, Sven, Olaf type of stuff?! It’s annoying me no end 😅

Total non issue, buy what you want from wherever it is available,

BigCheese24 · 15/12/2023 22:55

My wee boy is 6 but when he was 3 he had a boys Olaf hoodie from tesco. Try Vinted!

Grimmz · 15/12/2023 22:56

There are Olaf and Kristoff costumes online...

LeggyLinda · 15/12/2023 22:57

I buy all our clothes fresh

newusern99 · 15/12/2023 22:57

It’s probably because the films are quite old now. There were boys Olaf clothes etc when the films were new.

craigth162 · 15/12/2023 22:57

Zavvi and character.com have some

Needmorelego · 15/12/2023 22:58

Asda have this one and there seems to be several on Amazon.

What Disney should do is allow you to build your own children’s’ pyjamas online, by choosing the colour and size, with a customised picture, child’s name etc. It’s obvious really. I’m surprised they don’t do this already.

craigth162 · 15/12/2023 23:00

Loads on vinted

EsmeSusanOgg · 15/12/2023 23:00

I am always baffled why they can't have both girl and boy characters on a character top for little kids. Without tying them to a specific gender.

But just did a browse and there are loads of lovely Olaf items for young kids on Vinted.

Good luck!

On Wreck it Ralph breaks the internet there's a scene where all the Disney princesses are in chilledmout loungewear... Disney does not make these items for adults/ kids to buy. Which feels like a lost merchandising opportunity.

Some boys like unicorns too.

Damn it- jumped threads.......I'll report it!!

Marblessolveeverything · 16/12/2023 00:45

I've seen them in the past, I imagine it's a sales issue. Not enough current interest to warrant a collection.

It's safer sales wise to offer the revamping of a licence held so Spiderman etc is pretty much always available.

steff13 · 16/12/2023 00:46

There are several boys Frozen T-shirts on the disneystore.com website but it's an older movie so there's probably not a ton available anywhere.

Nail123 · 16/12/2023 00:49

My son had an Olaf top from Primark.

LeaveBritneyAlone · 16/12/2023 00:53

Ah you’ve missed the boat OP, there were loads of boys clothes when it first came out. Have a look on Vinted! My DS had a blue long sleeved Olaf top with the reversible sequins.

DelphiniumBlue · 16/12/2023 01:22

He's 2. He won't care what he is wearing, don't get pulled in to this unnecessary consumerism.

morekidsthanhands · 16/12/2023 02:10

They did have around 5 years ago when mine were younger- I remember an olaf hoodie from primark and pjs from m&s. Have a look on ebay or vinted.

ElevenSeven · 16/12/2023 05:14

Yeah, it’s because it’s old. It was everywhere years ago when the films came out.

Vinted is your friend.

HappyAsASandboy · 16/12/2023 13:40

Frozen and princesses will be located in the "girls" section. Tractors and dinosaurs will be located in the "boys" section.

But whichever clothes you like from whichever section you can find them in.

Well it’s an issue for OP because she’s posted about it.

OP, have you tried eBay or Amazon?

Singleandproud · 16/12/2023 13:45

If you can't find character clothes from supermarkets/Disney etc then Etsy is a good bet. There was a crackdown a while ago due to copyright but it doesn't seem to stop anyone.
