To wonder why this man wouldn't shut up?

I was in the chippy tonight and a man who had been on my bus and talked to me was in there. We exchanged pleasantries and then he told the lady behind the counter that I was cuddly and he was asking the lady to agree. He just wouldn't let up. The lady was ignoring him. Now, I'm very fat so am I right in thinking he was calling me fat and that he was a twat?

He was a twat. You don’t make personal comments especially about strangers.

He may have been, he may not. You can't ask him now unfortunately but you can decide how much space he deserves to occupy in your head now that you're away from him. Enjoy your chippy tea and don't let his comments sink any deeper than they need to.
